The syncing of the Arlo camera is necessary.
Here are some instructions that are given for setting up the camera with the
base station. The Arlo camera can access the Arlo base station feature after
syncing.
Here are the steps for Arlo Camera setup
- Open battery section through
descending and grasp the bolt
- Swipe the battery cover back
and raise it to open the battery section
- Put the batteries and shut the
battery cover
- Unlock the battery compartment
by sliding and hold the latch.
- Get your Arlo camera close within 30 to 100 centimeters (1 to 3 feet) of the base station
Sync the camera to the base station:
- If you want to utilize the base
station for Arlo
camera setup, you need to push the base station's sync button
for nearly 2-3 seconds and then leave the button
- Note: Don’t press the sync
button for too long because if you press for long, then LED amber blinks.
If the amber LED blinks for 10 minutes, then the syncing process is
blocked
- When the sync status LED
flashes green the base station setup is ready
- Push the sync button upward of
the Camera nearly for 2-3 seconds and leave the button
- A quick blue LED on the camera
blinks quickly to verify sync
- In case the LED on the camera
flashes amber that means the sync process is failed. Then repeat the sync
process.
- Inspect the camera LED on the
base station
- The solid green light will
confirm the successful sync
- Repeat this process for every
camera
