If you are using any Arlo security
camera series, then you will have to update
firmware manually. To update the firmware manually, you will have to
launch the Arlo application. And click on the settings or My devices or choose
the camera which you need to update. After that, tap on the device
information> firmware> update. Also, do not disconnect the camera, and
open the door of the battery. With this, you should remove the battery when the
firmware updates in the process. You should wait unless the firmware update
process completes. The Arlo camera’s LED will blink amber & blue when the
firmware is getting downloading & installing. When the download and
installation process will complete, then the camera will reboot or the LED will
off.
In case, anyone turns off their Arlo Go wireless
camera’s LED in the setting, that time LED doesn’t blink to show that a
firmware update in the process. When you turn off the LED, then you should
always ensure that you are allowed t view the camera’s live from the Arlo
application or a web browser before intervening power to the camera. In case
anyone removes the battery and otherwise disrupts power when the firmware
update is in the process to the camera may become vain.
